1162 Wildcat Ln, Delta, CO 81416

Property Description

Build your fly-in home at Westwinds Airpark, a private residential airpark at the foot of the Grand Mesa just outside Delta. This 1.76-acre Phase I homesite on Wildcat Ln gives you room for a house, a hangar, or both. A City of Delta water tap is available to the lot (tap fee and installation are the buyer’s responsibility). No septic is installed, so you can place the system where it suits your building plan. The airpark sits at about 5,000 feet. It is roughly 32 miles from Grand Junction and 22 miles from Montrose. Delta’s mild climate means more flying days than much of Colorado. The county is known for the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and the Gold Medal waters of the Gunnison River. Skiing at Powderhorn Resort and snowmobiling on the Grand Mesa are less than an hour away. In town, you’ll find the historic Egyptian Theatre, a farmers’ market, Sweitzer Lake State Park, and the area’s growing wine and orchard scene. Vacant land in a flyable community, with a flexible building site and mountain recreation in every direction.
