Cedaredge is situated in the Surface Creek Valley along the southern slopes of the Grand Mesa, the largest geological formation of its kind in the world. This small agricultural community traces its heritage back to the 1880s. Once home to the Ute Indians, settlers began arriving shortly after the Utes were relocated to western Utah. Cedaredge CO real estate was then divided up into homesteads, fruit orchards and cattle ranches. The owners of real estate in Cedaredge incorporated the town on March 25, 1907.

Parks and Recreation

The Grand Mesa National Forest is a haven for numerous species of wild plants and animals.
